PostgreSQL power function returns the value of m, which is elevated to the n-th degree.
Syntax of the power function in PostgreSQL
power( m, n )
Parameters and function arguments
- m – Base for use in the power function.
- n – Indicator of a degree in the power function.
The power function can be used in the following PostgreSQL versions
PostgreSQL 11, PostgreSQL 10, PostgreSQL 9.6, PostgreSQL 9.5, PostgreSQL 9.4, PostgreSQL 9.3, PostgreSQL 9.2, PostgreSQL 9.1, PostgreSQL 9.0, PostgreSQL 8.4.

--Result: 36

SELECT power(5.4, 3);
