Preamble
After you have announced the cursor in Oracle, the next step to open the cursor is to use the OPEN operator.
Syntax of the OPEN operator
OPEN cursor name;
Options and arguments of the operator
- cursor name – The name of the cursor you want to open.
For example, you could open a c1 cursor with the following command:
OPEN c1;
Next is a function that shows how to use the OPEN operator:
